The people of Brooke Road Church are a warm, friendly community of faith, located in southeastern Rockford, Illinois. We welcome all people and celebrate our diversity in race, age, gender, sexual orientation, and all the different ways God made us unique.
Everyone's faith journey is different and all people are welcome to explore their beliefs and their connection to God here. Children and youth are extremely important to us at Brooke Road. We want our children to feel love, care and safety as they grow in relationship with God and others. We believes that mission and outreach in the name of Christ are essential for expressing our faith. As we serve, we seek to offer God's grace, peace, and fellowship to all, and we journey together believing that lives can be enriched and transformed by love, forgiveness, and mercy.
United Methodists affirm the faith shared by all Christians, with particular emphasis on God's grace and on Christian living. We approach situations and issues through the lens of the Wesleyan quadrilateral, based on the teachings of our accidental founder John Wesley, a minister in the Church of England who sought to revive his own denomination.
