Kristin Cottrell, Community Center Manager

Picture
Kristin Cottrell, a Rockford native, was born into a family that could have used a wrap around. Kristin is passionate about her community and our families as a collective. She has experienced the impacts of extreme poverty and the ripple effects of alcoholism and substance abuse within her family structures that we know so often plagues many of the families within our community in one way or another. She deeply values health as a whole and knows the importance of social emotional wellbeing for us all. Kristin has 6 children and has been touched by village raising as a child, and adoption in motherhood. She hopes to bring an atmosphere of togetherness and community wellness at our center.  "We can only rise fully when we do it as a whole."
